Connected learning
The Connected Learning team at CLI supports teachers in schools and TAFE in the integration and use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in teaching and learning.
The team works closely with other areas of CLI in the development, design and programming of resources to produce projects and programs for teaching and learning that use ICT. We also collaborate closely with other parts of NSW DET to:
- integrate ICT into the curriculum
- develop and run professional learning programs on ICT for teachers
- design and run online projects for students
- provide advice on adaptive technologies for students with a disability
- help with the implementation of CLI produced resources in teaching and learning programs.
Our team keeps constantly updated on new and emerging technologies, with an open mind as to how they may be used for teaching and learning.
We run trials of innovative projects involving new technologies and applications, working on ways to integrate the technologies that students are using every day into the learning process and supporting teachers in that aim.
