Woman 1: I work for the Aboriginal Health Service and my job is Aboriginal Health Coordinator.
This eye health program it was designed specifically for Aboriginal people.
If this program wasn't around they wouldn't go to an optometrist to have their eyes checked.
Man: I'm an Aboriginal Health worker and I do a bit of blood pressure, height and weight and assist the doctors.

Man: Most of the men don't like coming to the surgery.
There's enough females there they might open up a bit there.
Woman 2: People aren't always comfortable talking with their doctor, that's part of my role to liaise with the client and with the GP and
breakdown those communication barriers.

Woman 3: I think just having a Koori face within that hospital helps them.

Woman 2: It's a wonderful profession.
It's very rewarding.
It's very fulfilling.
