New languages resources
The NSW Department of Education and Training has emphasised its commitment to the teaching of languages other than English with a launch of ten new multimedia resources.
On 7 November 2006, Professor Daniel Kane from the University of Sydney officially launched 10 multimedia resources for the teaching of languages other than English. Developed by CLI, these resources support the new K-10 languages syllabuses in Chinese, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese and Spanish.
These resources are made available as a free download through the Teaching and Learning exchange (TaLe) for NSW DET teachers and can also be purchased in CD format by any other educational institution in Australia from our online catalogue.
