Personal Response System Trial

In 2007, the Centre for Learning Innovation (CLI) and Kookaburra Educational Resources Pty Ltd conducted a trial of InterWrite Personal Response Systems (PRS) in four Sydney high schools. The trial provides a valuable case study for investigating the impact of these technologies on teaching and learning. The report [19 pp pdf 2.37 MB].

How do NSW DET teachers discover, access and use online learning resources in their practice?

A CLI team conducted this investigation by way of personal interviews and online surveys with nearly 300 NSW DET teachers from both schools and TAFE in late 2006. The report [21 pp pdf 315kB] provides insights into how these teachers discover, access and use digital learning resources in their practice. These findings include that teachers prefer richer, more interactive multimedia resources, in formats which enable easy re-use for different learning needs.
