Case study 1 | Case study 2

Management at a school have decided to put all their policies on their website. They believe this will make it easier and more cost effective to update and make available the policies to all staff. Print copies will no longer be available once all policies are put online.

As computer systems are in place in the school, management believes that all staff members will be able to access these policies. Not all staff, however, have had formal training in using computers or the Internet. There are neither plans for this training nor plans to purchase adaptive technologies for staff with a disability.

The staff profile is diverse and wide-ranging and includes off-site, itinerant and remote employees, as well as employees with a disability. Also, some staff members are employed on a casual or part-time basis.
