You will need to have some plug-ins, ie software your computer needs to access some sound and flash files we have built within this site. Sometimes the plug-in you do have may be a little outdated. In this case you may receive a prompt to download a free update. This is a quick, automated process and will enhance quality and download speed.

Can be downloaded from http://www.macromedia.com/downloads/.

RealPlayer

Can be downloaded from http://www.real.com/realone/index.html.

Make sure you download the free version called RealPlayerBasic. If you require captions you must turn on this facility in the Realplayer itself. To do this, open up your new RealPlayer, go to 'View' on the menu bar and select 'Preferences'. At the bottom is 'Accessibility' - the settings to select captioning.

Windows Media Player

This comes with Internet Explorer on a PC, but can also be downloaded from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/en/download/default.asp. Follow the links for a version to suit your operating system. To view captions go to 'View' - 'Nowplaying tools' - 'Captions' and turn the captions on.

Adobe Acrobat
